dude i totally made a piece just like this..haha just kidding..kind of. but i love the jacket! I don't know if this is the whole piece that you have here, but the jacket has very good balance of value. I'm not sure if the artist is really trying to convey a significant message other than the fact that her drawings skills are awesome. I really love the variety of values throughout the piece. i think it looks very realistic. I feel like i could pick this jacket up and wear it! The only thing I would say could be improved is that there is no background and the jacket is just the center of the piece. although the jacket is very detailed and doesn't need much to work with it, I feel like some kind of a background, even just blacking it out, could help the piece be stronger. Great job!
Sammie, I love this drawing! It looks soooo real and way better than the real jacket. It kinda has some space which is good and the variety is great too! I like the mark that you made with the charcle or pencil because it makes it look rough. This jacket has a lot of detail which makes it even better and I think thats what makes this piece stand out more. The movement of this piece also works. The way it goes from the lower right corner to the uper left is absolutley great! I do think that you needed more shadding.. just a tad bit but other than that its gorgeous! Good job!!
